The Same Shape album is finished!
Yes, the album is done and in our grimy little hands. You can get your copy at the CD release party on February 17 (please see home page for more information). We will also be selling our CDs online through CD baby. Please stay tuned and soon there will be a link on the site to guide you to right place in cyber space.
We also wanted to take a moment and talk about the album and how it was recorded. We all felt that we wanted to record somewhere with no distractions, somewhere that phones don't ring and people don't come over to visit. We wanted to immerse ourselves completely into the project. A very good friend by the name of Nino Moschella who is a talented engineer offered to record the album. Not only is Nino an engineer, but he also an extremely talented multi-instrumentalist and an amazing singer/song-writer. In fact, Nino was recently signed to the world-renown indie label, Ubiquity. Nino resides in the bay area, but has a studio in the foothills just above Fresno. This was a perfect match.
The album was recorded live to tape. Very little post-production was done as well and we captured the live performance aspects of The Same Shape to tape and eventually to a medium that everyone can enjoy...The CD.
If you don't pick up a CD at the release party, you can come to any of our shows and buy a CD. We will also be
offering the ability to buy CDs online.
